Dear Mrs Kuberova,
First of all let’s introduce ourselves : we are a team composed by four French protestant « aînés » that is to say we are rovers. We have worked on our project for a year now.
After we thought about it for a very long time, we have finally found the main ideas of this project according with the aims of the Century celebration : we are willing to discover Europe, its inhabitants and its scouting. Therefore we long to travel from a EuroEtape to another one, while trying to be the most useful as possible (participating to the EuroEtape building site, organising games…). Whilst this journey all over Europeans countries we’d like to meet foreign scouts in order to share with them our points of view on scouting, on the Europe but also to share brotherhood and friendship. This meeting should occur either for all the project or only for a part. It could end with the participation of our foreign comrades to « CANAAN » which stand for « camp national des aînés » in other words the national camp organised for French protestant rovers.
This project is planned to occur during the three first august 2007 weeks, which could be extended by CANAAN.
We are searching for a team of rovers who could accompany us during this project. Could you propose to a team of czech scouts which will lead us in the streets of Prague and perhaps which could follow us in France.

Tout d’abord, les présentations : nous sommes une équipe de quatre aînés français protestants, ayant 17 ans, ainsi que d’une responsable. Ca fait déjà plus d’un an que nous travaillons ensemble à la réalisation de notre projet.
Après maintes réflexions sur le sujet, nous avons décidé des grandes lignes de notre projet qui remplit les objectifs proposés par l’organisation du Centenaire: découvrir l’Europe, ses habitants et son scoutisme. Tout cela en nous déplaçant d’EuroEtape en EuroEtape, en essayant le plus possible de nous rendre utile sur place (en participant au ‘projet’ de l’euro-étape, en organisant un jeux dans chaque euro-étape, etc.…) Et pendant ce petit tour en Europe, nous aimerions rencontrer des scouts étrangers, afin de partager avec eux notre vision du scoutisme, de l’Europe mais aussi de la convivialité. Cet échange pourrait se dérouler sur la totalité du projet, ou seulement sur une partie. Cet échange pourrait se terminer par l’accueil de nos correspondant étranger à CANAAN, le camp national des aînés français.
Nous cherchons une équipe d'aînés qui pourraient nous accompagner pendant ce projet. Pourriez vous proposer à une équipe de scouts tchèques qui nous guideront dans les rues de Prague et qui pourrait peut-être nous suivre en France.
